**About the Centre**

Coburg Olympic Swimming Pool is a part of Active Moreland which is owned by the City of Moreland and run by YMCA Victoria. Whether you want to cool off on a hot day, hone your diving skills, enjoy a BBQ by the pool with family and friends, or simply swim laps - visit Coburg Olympic Swimming Pool. We are an accredited Watch Around Water facility, meaning there are guidelines that must be followed when visiting the centre. Coburg Olympic Swimming Pool offers a 50 metre outdoor pool, a diving pool with a 1-metre diving board, a learners pool, a shaded toddlers pool and barbeque and picnic facilities.

**About the role**

As the Seasonal Team Leader at Coburg Olympic Swimming Pool you will play a key role within the Active Moreland team. Reporting through to the Senior Centre Coordinator at Oak Park Sports & Aquatic Centre, you will lead and manage all aspects of the Outdoor Swimming Centre.

You will be providing leaderships and direction to the Duty Manager, Lifeguard, Customer Service and Café staff at the facility, with support from the Senior Centre Coordinator and Centre Manager from Oak Park. In this role you will also implement and maintain systems to ensure the facility is always presented at a high standard and will work to ensure the delivery of continual facility improvements.

This is a fixed term part time role (0.8 FTE) with an hourly rate of $29.08 per hour + super. You will need to be available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends in line with the centres operating hours.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- PUAOPE010C Defibrillator (AED)
- Previous leadership experience is essential
- Tertiary qualifications in Sports Management, Business Management, or other related field will be highly regarded
