About the Role
As a Foreign Exchange Risk Management Analyst in Suncorp Bank, you will support the distribution of Foreign Exchange (FX) Risk Management products. This will involve:
Developing relationships, promoting and pricing FX products to the SME and Retail market
Assisting the FX Specialists and FX & IR RM Product Specialist to manage treasury documentation, establishing limits, and assisting Business Bankers when and if required
Assisting the FX RM Specialists service existing and prospective foreign exchange customers
Assisting FX & IR RM team service an existing client base whilst supporting, Business Banking & Agribusiness Managers in establishing limits and client accounts. The portfolio will be largely spot and same day foreign exchange transactions
Providing support to the Manager, FX & IR RM to improve product development, procedures and policies with a focus on streamlining workflows for Business Banking colleagues

What will your day look like?
**As an FX Analyst, you will be accountable for**:
Client Experience - demonstrated client satisfaction through assisting the Foreign Exchange desk servicing a national portfolio of clients
Portfolio Growth and Development - assist the FX & IR RM teams to achieve revenue and behavioural targets
Project Work - provide ongoing project support to the development and implementation of improved procedures and products
Compliance - Adhere to compliance requirements for all internal and external regulatory and operational activities by monitoring & reporting on daily activities, limit breaches and policy breaches. Commitment to managing AFMA professional continuing education requirements
Personal Development - construction and implementation of a personal development plan to enhance skills required in current and future roles within the organisation
Team Engagement - Contribution to the team effort on the Treasury Sales Desk, Treasury as a Division and the Bank’s goals
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business or Marketing is highly desirable
Strong experience in the banking and/or Financial Markets industry
Ability to effectively contribute to the IRRM & FX RM Team and to adapt to a flexible and positive approach to a dynamic and challenging environment
Excellent customer skills with the ability to empathize and communicate effectively
Self-motivated with the determination and drive to succeed in a competitive market
Motivated to offer excellent service and add value to customers. To have a natural ability to deal with people and one who enjoys these interactions
Advanced Excel skills and a high degree of mathematical literacy
Methodical and strict attention to detail with the ability to problem solve
Time management and organisational skills and the desire to work collaboratively
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
