Lives Lived Well provides support for people in Queensland and New South Wales who are being impacted by alcohol or drugs or problems with mental health, and now we’re expanding our services to **South Australia **.
This newly established service will provide person-centred and whole of person, accessible and integrated primary mental health care, and suicide prevention services along a stepped care continuum to underserviced and at-risk groups in the Northern Adelaide PHN Region.

**Your opportunity**
In a small Reclaim team of 2, you will be working as part of our wider Brisbane South team, delivering Drug and Alcohol psychoeducation groups to prisoners at the Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centre. This is a highly structured program, which will require you to possess strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
This program has been fully established and has been embedded on evidence-based practices.
- What does this mean? _
This is a role that has a big impact. You'll walk alongside our clients, changing their lives for the better as they make changes to their lives to break the cycle of incarceration. You'll support clients to live healthy by providing Drug and Alcohol harm minimisation strategies and education. This is a part-time role, working 22.8 hours a week.

**What you'll bring**
- You will need to know how to set and maintain good boundaries with clients, as this can be a challenging environment due to its restrictive nature
- You will be comfortable working in a prison setting
- You can be flexible and navigate the unexpected.
- You will be able to think on your feet, problem-solve and handle pressure.
- You will have a genuine desire to support people in making a positive difference to their lives.
- You will be reliable, resilient, persistent and **non-judgmental.
You'll also need some technical skills and experience:
- Bachelor in social work, human services, psychology, criminology or related discipline.
- A clinician interested in working within a correctional setting.
- Previous experience working in the AOD field
- Previous experience working with offenders (desirable)
