Zijin Rosebel Gold Mines (RGM) is seeking a dynamic **Communications Lead** to drive the company’s internal and external communications strategy, ensuring consistent brand visibility and stakeholder engagement. This leadership role is pivotal in strengthening the corporate reputation of RGM and aligning all communications with the strategic goals of the Zijin Mining Group.

The Communications Lead will develop and implement integrated communication plans, oversee brand consistency, manage crisis communications, and provide strategic advice to senior leadership. They will supervise the communications team and manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to ensure the delivery of high-impact messaging.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive internal and external communication strategies.
- Ensure alignment with Zijin Mining Group’s branding and messaging standards.
- Enhance employee engagement through clear and timely internal communications.
- Manage RGM’s public image, media relations, and digital presence.
- Lead crisis communication planning and reputation management efforts.
- Oversee content creation for newsletters, social media, website, and promotional materials.
- Foster relationships with media and key stakeholders to amplify RGM’s visibility.
- A bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Exceptional communication skills, including writing, editing, and presenting to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational abilities with a proven capacity to manage priorities and deliver high-quality service.
- Proficient in content creation tools and design software; able to develop visual materials such as posters and dashboards.
- Comfortable collaborating across diverse teams and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English and speaking knowledge of Sranan Tongo.
- Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 5 days of work (Monday to Friday) followed by 2 days break at our mine site in Brokopondo.
