The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority, and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
**About the role**
Exciting opportunity to manage and lead local implementation and operations of the Specialist FamilyViolence Court (SFVC) at Bendigo Law Courts, including developing and managing the SFVC registry team, lead stakeholder engagement activities and continuous improvement of the SFVC Operating Model.
The Specialist Family Violence Court (SFVC) Manager leads local implementation and operations of family violence reform initiatives within the SFVC.
The role develops and manages a local SFVC team, leading stakeholder engagement and communication activity to foster community connections and driving an integrated local family violence service system.
The role acts as a conduit to change and innovate, promoting a high quality, court-user centric, service delivery culture within the SFVC. The SFVC Manager is responsible for data collection activity, monitoring and management of the SFVC Operating Model to drive continuous improvement.
**About you**
- Demonstrated understanding of the dynamics of family violence and its impacts on those who have experienced violence
- Demonstrated understanding of the Victorian family violence service system
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge of legislation, practices, policies and procedures applicable to Victorian Courts and Tribunals
- Demonstrated experience with community and industry forums or working groups to deliver continuous, systembased reform.
