**About your role**

Downer Defence is recruiting for multiple Project roles in **Canberra, Bungendore & Albury Wodonga**. These roles provide an exciting opportunity to support with cutting edge construction & infrastructure projects Experience in the industry, in particular project management, building and construction, engineering, architecture or facility management is required.

These roles will support the General Manager, Senior Project Manager & Project Delivery Managers in Downer Defence’s Estate Development & Base Upgrades (EDBU) Group to provide project delivery services to the Department of Defence under the Estate Maintenance and Operation Services (EMOS) contract. You will support the team to plan, manage and deliver projects from Defence’s Directorate of Estate Work Program Office’s Estate Work Program (DEWPO’s EWP).
- Main focuses will include: _
- Assisting the DEWPO Project Delivery Manager(s) and the overall DEWPO team in overseeing, planning, managing and delivering projects or Defence’s Estate and Infrastructure Group and Downer Defence
- Also, have confidence in leading the management and delivery of projects simple in nature under supervision of Project Delivery Managers
- Implement the Downer Standard (TDS) and Defence processes to enable the planning, management, delivery and handover of projects

**Project Delivery Manager (Duntroon, Canberra)**
This role will be a significant contributor in helping Downer Defence under the EMOS contract to deliver leading edge projects, requiring regular interface with the client, internal and external personnel, and Service Delivery Partners. Competitive salary package & Downer branded vehicle provided.

**Project Delivery Officer (Duntroon, Campbell)**
You will support the Project Delivery Managers to plan, manage and deliver projects from Defence’s Directorate of Estate Work Program Office’s Estate Work Program (DEWPO’s EWP). Competitive salary package & Downer branded vehicle provided.

**Graduate Project Officer (Duntroon, Canberra)**
This entry level role will assist with operational functions with various technical and contractual requirements on project sites, ensuring administrative activities are completed accurately, standing in the gap, as well as developing and maintaining working relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires the flexibility to be mobile as working on projects outside the general location of work will be required.

**Assistant Project Delivery Manager (Albury Wodonga, NSW)**
This role will support the Project Delivery Managers to deliver leading edge projects, requiring regular interface with the client, internal and external personnel, and Service Delivery Partners. Competitive salary package & Downer branded vehicle provided.

**Project Manager (HQJOC - Headquarters Joint Command Operations, Bungendore)**
This role will support & coordinate the delivery of efficient and timely Project management services that support the strategic planning objectives and ensures Downer HQJOC meets all statutory obligations in respect of Project management. As a member of the Downer HQJOC management team, you will provide leadership in relation to service delivery, innovation and planning, to meet organisational goals, improve organisational performance and promote a professional, high-functioning and collaborative culture. **Education/ Qualifications**:

- Certificate, Diploma or Degree qualifications in the industry (essential), in particular project management, building and construction, engineering or architecture
- Suitability for Defence security clearance **(Australian Citizenship Mandatory)**
