**Casual Educators**

Big Fat Smile is currently looking for experienced, energetic and exceptional Educators to join the team on a Casual basis as a Fun Club (OSHC) Educator.

Big Fat Smile is a child safe organisation, committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of children entrusted to our care. We demonstrate this commitment through embedding of the Child Safe Standards in culture, policies, procedures and practice. Big Fat smile has a zero tolerance for child abuse and harm and all allegations and safety concerns will be treated seriously and acted upon

**What you'll do**

Our educators play an integral role in the delivery of high-quality recreation programs and care to all Children. To be successful, you will need great communication skills, understanding of children and the ability to work positively as part of a team, as well as the availability to work morning and afternoon shifts.

Previous experience working with school aged children in environments such as sporting, music, dance, creative arts, summer camps and scouts / guides is highly regarded.

**Selection Criteria**
- Demonstrated experience working with children
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work positively within a team environment
- A good level of physical fitness
- Understanding of workplace health and safety and the National Quality Framework
- Must be available during NSW School Holidays
- Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain at own cost)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain at own cost)
- Identify and Respond to Children at Risk certificate (desirable)
- Certificate IV (OSHC) or Certificate III (Early Childhood Education & Care)(desirable)

**Your Application**
- A cover letter, addressing the ‘what you will need' and your availability for casual shifts
- A current resume
- A copy of your Working with Children Check and any relevant qualifications
- Evidence from the Australian Immunisation Register that you have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination, or a medical contraindication
