**About the Role**:
The Department of General Medicine is offering two 6-month, full time fixed term Advanced Trainee positions to those seeking to complete training requirements or seeking to undertake further training in General and Acute Care medicine.

Reporting to the Head of Service in a structured training program, you will have the opportunity to rotate through one of the various subspecialty areas such as General Medicine, Intensive Care, Cardiology, Infectious Diseases, Geriatrics, Respiratory, Palliative Care, Endocrinology, Rheumatology and other health services such as Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Albury Wodonga Health, Epworth Richmond and Ballarat Base Hospital.

**About you**:

- You must hold current General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Completed Basic Physician Training
- Passed FRACP written and clinical exams
- Strong supervision & leadership skills
- Extensive experience in providing professional supervisor and mentoring to junior medical staff
