Our friendly, caring staff are focused on assisting students to realise their full potential with a well-rounded education that meets their unique needs and helps them to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in school and beyond. - Plan, prepare and deliver the Australian Curriculum - Provided quality and effective teaching which are consistent with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers; - Build positive and effective relationships with students to enable them to be successful in their first year of learning - Work as part of a teaching team to implement the Australian Curriculum and school initiatives. Work collaboratively with others. - Support students through interaction with them in a variety of settings and through the active development of supportive learning environments and effective behaviour management practices. - Provide for the physical, social, cultural and emotional wellbeing and physical safety of students whilst at school - Assess students (diagnostic, formative and summative) for developmental, feedback and reporting purposes. - Maintain student records and samples of work and report on student performance to students, parents, the department and other stakeholders. - Participate in the collaborative development and evaluation of curriculum (the sum total of all learning experiences) and regularly monitor, through observation and evaluation, the effectiveness of the learning/teaching program. - Establish and maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with parents and cares, including maintaining positive and appropriate relations between the school and community. - Participate as appropriate, in school decision making processes and professional development **Applicants for these positions must possess**: - A relevant teaching qualification.
