We are Victoria’s longest standing Commercial Grounds Maintenance, Landscape Construction and Turf Management specialists, servicing a diverse range of clients for over 33 years.

Super Gardens is a part of Australasian Landscape Services (currently comprising Super Gardens, Green Options, Skyline Landscape Services and Recreational Services (NZ))

Due to continued success and growth, we have opportunities for apprentices to join our team and gain a qualification in Certificate III Sports Turf Management.

Our apprentices learn from industry experienced and qualified supervisors and we provide learning opportunities across a number of areas. Based at Sandown Racecourse, you will gain experience in:

- Turf maintenance duties including: learning to identify and treat weeds, pests and diseases, preparation of warm and cool season grasses and whipper snipping of grass;
- Use of a push mower, ride on mower, blower, edger and hand tools etc;
- Preparation activities for race day including: track repair; replacing sods, sand rolling and grooming, removing and replacing race line rails;
- Learn to operate a range of heavy machinery including: tractors; a boom irrigator; de thatcher and corer etc.
- Mowing; whipper snipping, pruning, blowing, weeding and rubbish removal;
**What's required**
- Drivers Licence, manual preferred
- Willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Be physically fit and able to undertake manual work
- A genuine interest in horticulture is essential

This is a fantastic opportunity if you love the outdoors, are enthusiastic and have a keen eye for detail. You will be required to work a minimum of 38 hours per week. Additional hours are required from time to time, including some weekend work.
