**Position accountabilities will include**:
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Supervisor (lead) for the Overhaul Assembly, Repair Line, Hot Section and BOV section. The role reports to the Operations Manager based in our Brisbane Facility.
- Communicate and coordinate priorities to the assigned Technicians in line with priorities set by the Operations Coordinator.
- Oversee and ensure all documentation (electronic or hard copy) is signed off/stamped as tasks are completed progressively
- Provide regular progress and status reports of engine or modules in the Repair Assembly and Inspection area.
- Implement repair line autonomy, the repair line is to be self-sufficient in managing engines, utilising other departments to support the process.
- Handle commercial and customer aspects of the events.
- Perform required administrative activities necessary for the effective management of the section, including tool and equipment control.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all departments at all levels and participate in meetings as required.
- Build and develop team approaches to problem solving and continuous improvement concepts within the assigned area.
- Involved in training, career development, performance appraisal, discipline, health, safety and the general employee relations of direct reports.
- Carries out special projects as assigned.
- May perform other operations tasks as required, depending on business needs and technical qualifications

Qualifications/Skills/Experience
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of PC's in the current company operating system environment.
- Working knowledge of company instructions, company processes, administrative policies and procedures, and export compliance regulations.
- Product knowledge of respective business segment is beneficial.
- Several years of supervisory experience in a small to medium manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
- Education in aerospace industry - Diploma level will be desirable.
- Understand Australian and International Regulatory requirements
- Working knowledge of Pratt & Whitney Canada publications and work instructions including overhaul and maintenance manuals, parts catalogues and service bulletins
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to use and care for precision measuring and torqueing devices
