**About The Opportunity**

As the Software Tester, based at Micromine HQ in the Perth CBD, you will validate the quality of our Micromine Alastri solution to uncover defects prior to release.

Micromine Alastri is an integrated, visually stunning, open-pit mine planning software that is fast, intuitive, and able to model the complex open-pit mines of tomorrow.

Reporting to the QA Team Lead (Micromine Alastri), your key responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring the Micromine Alastri solution meets its expected functionality.
- Designing, developing, and executing manual and automated testing.
- Ensuring new builds have been tested and meet client functionality and quality expectations prior to release.
- Acting as primary contact for incoming bug reports, and ensuring Software Developers have the information they need to resolve issues.
- Actively managing and closing issues via the issue tracking system JIRA.

**About You**

You will have prior experience within testing roles, including skills with both manual and automated testing.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

- The ability to code, using any language, to a basic level. Please note that there will be testing during the recruitment process.
- Experience using scripting tools (for example TestComplete) to design, develop, and maintain automated regression tests.
- A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, or alternatively, relevant industry experience.
