**About the Role**
As part of a specialised Highways team, this role will see you work on a broad range of projects from urban and rural highways to local roads and active transport improvements. Collaborating with a team of highway alignment experts your experience in road design and BIM will further be enhanced to provide career development and opportunities across the business.
**What will I do?**
- Work on a variety of highways and road infrastructure projects for a range of clients including government agencies, construction contractors and private developers
- Produce quality documentation including design models, drawings, verification documentation and reporting
- Assist with new and innovative IT solutions to problems, ensuring the group keeps pace with new advancements in technology in the industry
- Be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of your work and support the team to ensure deadlines are met
- Represent Arup at internal and external meetings and be responsible for closing out agreed actions
**What will I bring?**
- Working knowledge and understanding of Austroads and TMR highway design guidelines including active transport
- Experience coordinating highway design inputs to deliver 12D design models, BIM and drawing submissions to Qld TMR and other state and local road authority standards
- Demonstrates a commitment to own professional development and brings wide and varied experience
- Actively develops the knowledge, experience and skills of others, including those in other groups/offices
