**The Role**

Reporting to the Operational Technology (OT) Project Manager, the OT Project Drafter will work under the direction of Origin employees across a major infrastructure & network refresh project in the Operational Technology area.

The Project Drafter will use their high level of AutoCAD knowledge to create project, demolition, and as-build master drawings. Equally, the role is to carry out drafting checks on drawings generated from the peer drafter in the project.

**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Checking out/in native files from Origin’s repository;
- Drafting and back-drafting project, demolition and as-built master drawings using AutoCAD;
- Generating check prints;
- Liaising with the Project Drafting Coordinator for them to send check prints and upload documents into the Origin document repository;
- Reviewing check prints;
- Adhering to Origin Energy Drafting and Project Procedures.

**About you**

To be considered for this role you will have attention to detail and a solid understanding of drafting principles. You will also have excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills and an appreciation for the nature of project work.
- Engineering design background, ideally in telecommunications or operational technology;
- High level of **AutoCAD knowledge**;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to interpret requirements and work independently as well as in a project team;
- Well-rounded computer skills;
- Willingness to attend the office in Brisbane CBD at least 3 days per day.
