We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team permanent basis in Port Melbourne.

**About the role**:
As the Finance Analyst, you will collaborate with business leaders to gain a deep understanding of BAA and the core functions they represent. You will be a trusted business partner, providing financial analysis and insight including:

- Preparation of quarterly forecasts, variance analysis and reporting
- Weekly and monthly metrics & reports, such as headcount, overtime, cost variance analysis
- Proactively manage opportunities, risks and issues with stakeholders
- Analyze performance to plan, recommend and drive improvement initiatives
- Develop business cases and financial modeling
- Seek to drive efficiencies in existing processes through continuous improvement initiatives

**Basic qualifications (Required skills / experience)**:

- Completed CA/CPA qualification with at least 5 years working experience in forecasting, planning and analysis
- Good teaming and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage across a diverse workforce
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Proactive and results oriented
- Knowledge of cost management, accounting and financial reporting requirements in a manufacturing multi-national environment, ideal
