**ROLE DESCRIPTION**

As a Taste My Bean Barista, you're the foundation of our customer experience. From maintaining impeccable cleanliness to providing warm, efficient service to customers, your role ensures every visit is a delightful and memorable one. You will be responsible for making the TMB range of beverages, both hot and cold, Preparing and Serving our delicious range of food, Customer Orders, Point of Sale, you will also actively contribute to the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the store.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Actively contributing to the cleanliness and order of the store. Cleaning all areas of the cafe, including cleaning public areas, bathrooms and washing dishes.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure a seamless workflow.
- Ensure that the cafe inventory is clean and maintained, moving, and refilling supplies as needed.
- Operate the drive-through speaker system and communication headsets efficiently, ensuring prompt and courteous service to all customers.
- Take and accurately log customer orders, ensuring all preferences and special requests are noted.
- Handle Point-of-Sale (POS) processes, which includes proficiently managing transactions, handling and counting money, and providing precise change.
- Collaboration with your team by maintaining food menu preparation and assembly and order preparation, heating and serving food items
- Expertly preparing TMB Range of beverages, including hot and cold coffee drinks
- Ensuring the proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of coffee machines and related equipment.

**MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS**
- Loves working with people and has great customer service and communication skills.
- Good at multitasking and working on your feet.
- Ability to follow guidelines and procedures including food health and safety.
- Availability within the store operating hours
- Capable of standing for extended periods, with the ability to lift items weighing up to 15kg
- Strong English proficiency and communication skills

Barista must have
- 6 months experience as a barista working with a manual machine, we run 3 group Wega machines with manual grind.

**COMPENSATION**

Taste My Bean operates within the framework of the Food and Beverage stream of the Restaurant Industry Award 2020. Base Rate and penalty rates are per the award, Barista all rounder is a level 2.
- Above Award Package available based on negotiations
- Worked casual hours are paid weekly.
