**Role Description/Criteria**

As a Learning Support Officer, your responsibilities are incorporated into assisting student learning. The areas of responsibility include
- Providing support to students with additional needs

Assisting with the Schools Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) process

Providing effective, accurate and comprehensive support for all aspects of Learning Diversity initiatives.

Adhering to all Child Safety legislation and College requirements

Support for the Religious ethos of the College

Demonstrating a strong understanding of, and commitment, to Catholic education.

Demonstrating an understanding and acceptance of the St Anne’s Vision Statement and the values that underpin it.

Demonstrating evidence of the ability to work with students and staff in classrooms to support student learning outcomes by implementing appropriate adjustments to learning for students

You must have
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all members of the College community

Proficiency with computers

An understanding of child safety and the appropriate obligations and behaviours when engaging with students

Certificate III or IV qualification in Educational Support or equivalent

A current Working With Children Check and National Police Record History Check and is a suitable person to engage in child-connected work
