**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for an experienced Associate Director on a Part-time/ job sharing basis that can demonstrate an in-depth understanding of statutory and strategic urban planning and an ability to provide a range of services including advice relating to land use, development capability, due diligence assessments, masterplans, the approval process, and management. You will have the opportunity to drive the growth of Urbis as Queensland's pre-eminent planning consultancy offer and lead some of the state's most exciting city and community shaping projects.
**You will**:
- Lead city and community shaping thought leadership pieces.
- Achieve revenue targets that comprise both Personal Fees and Work Under Management, through strong service delivery and project management.
- Support Directors to achieve ‘whole-of-office' business plan outcomes, in conjunction with other Business Units.
- Lead strategic projects for tier 1 private and government clients, that will shape the future form and function of Queensland.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to engage and work collaboratively with colleagues from other disciplines and Business Units across Brisbane and the broader firm on cross-disciplinary projects.
**About You**:
**The role is ideally suited to someone with**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or a related discipline.
- Someone seeking flexible/ Part-time employment
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience, ideally gained in a consultancy environment.
- Proven ability to manage and develop team members.
- Proven track record of building new clients and business.
- Project Management skills, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects and producing high-quality results within a consultancy.
- A strong and confident communicator, with the ability to encourage cross-business collaboration.
