Internal Auditor

**The Opportunity**:
You will be responsible for executing internal audits and other projects in accordance with the annual internal audit plan. These projects include completing risk prioritised operational, accounting, financial and branch audit reviews to assess efficiencies, compliance and adequacy of internal controls. In addition, you will assist in Enterprise Risk Management, investigations, compliance requirements and improvement related activities as directed by the Risk & Assurance Manager.

**Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- 2 - 5 years experience conducting internal audits of business, operational, accounting and finance areas, including scoping, executing and preparing audit reports.
- An understanding of audit frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience in liaising and negotiating with business owners on audit matters including the implementation status of internal audit recommendations.
- Proficient at utilising Microsoft Office Applications.
- Experience in industrial markets including manufacturing or assembly and distribution highly regarded.
- Experience in utilising CAATs software including building and executing queries highly regarded.
- Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or equivalent highly regarded.
- Member of the institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) highly regarded.
