**The Opportunity**:
Due to the growth of Komatsu, our head office is looking for a graduate internal auditor to work in our risk and assurance department. This role is primarily responsible for assisting in the completion of Internal Audits and other projects as per the annual internal audit plan, including providing support as required to remediate any control deficiencies. This role will also assist in the completion of accounting, financial, operational and branch audit reviews to ensure compliance and adequacy of internal controls.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist to complete internal audits, including scoping, testing and reporting on time and at the required quality level.
- Assist to complete testing and reporting, including the identification of any major deficiencies, to ensure appropriate actions are taken to remediate.
- Keep the Risk and Assurance Manager up to date with the results of audit reviews by providing regular updates as required.
- Assist to conduct desk top audit reviews by building and executing CAAT software queries as required.
- Assist in the completion of reports for the Risk and Compliance Committee.
- Support the Risk and Assurance Manager as required by assisting with due diligence exercises and other projects, preparing management reports and attending meetings.
- Undertake testing of controls to provide a basis for the company’s auditors to place reliance on such testing by agreement between Komatsu Australia and the external auditor.
- Assist in Enterprise Risk Management, investigations, compliance and improvement related activities as directed by the Risk & Assurance Manager.
- This role will be part of Komatsu’s graduate program. As part of this program, your position may be rotated with other people to ensure variety and additional learning activities across the business.

**Role Located**: Fairfield Office (Monday - Friday, standard office hours)

**Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- A degree in Finance, Management, Economics, Law or similar
- Highly motivated and a willingness to learn
- Confident and strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in utilising Microsoft Office Applications.
- Willingness to work towards becoming a chartered accountant or similar.
- Available to travel nationally and internationnaly.
