Electric/walk Behind Sweeper Operator

**The Role**
- Operating an Electric or walk behind sweeper
- Duties will include Manual Handling, raking debris around vehicles or bins, wiping done of council bins, using hand blowers 5 -7 hrs a per day
- Picking up loose litter on street footpaths and laneways utilising correct technique (litter pickers etc.)
- Completing scheduled locations of tight deadlines in a continuous operation
- Adhere to Downer Zero Harm Standards and practices
- Must be available Monday to Friday afternoon shifts for a rotating roster, weekend and overtime work available
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the client, tenants, other contractors and customers at all levels.

**About You**
- Recent sweeping experience (within the last 12 months) is desirable
- Must hold a valid Driver’s Licence (Full or Probationary)
- A good communicator who can follow instructions and is willing to learn
- Safety focused with a high level of attention to detail
- Have resilience, a 'can-do' attitude and be adaptable
- Good level of fitness and physical ability
- Must have full work rights in Australia
