We are looking for a Casual Team Leader to join our team at Oasis Murrumbeena, our original and flagship location. Ideally you will have experience as a department lead or duty manager in a similar store; with demonstrable skills in leading a small team. We are known for our carefully curated offer of fresh, frozen, pantry goods, all delivered with exceptional and informed customer service. You will lead from the front, sharing your knowledge with your team and customers alike. **What we are looking for**: - An experienced leader who will champion the culture of the store - An eye for detail, with the ability to problem solve, prioritising workloads - Agility to adapt as business requires - Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands on" approach - Ability to involve and motivate your team to reach store targets - Strong interpersonal, motivational, communication and organizational skills - Previous experience as a fresh produce or retail department lead - Forklift driving experience **What you will be doing**: - Passionate about customer service and developing teams - Leading a small team on a day-to-day basis, allocating duties and ensuring productivity - Maximise sales and profitability by ensuring customer focused service - Provide a positive working environment, motivating and encouraging overall employee morale - Assisting with onboarding, training, and mentoring junior staff We understand the importance of your aspirations and we support this with internal and external training, and real potential for career growth. **OASIS. We currently have venues in Murrumbeena, Fairfield. Schedule: - Rotating roster - Must be available every Saturday **Experience**: - Supermarket Retail: 1 year (preferred) - Customer service: 1 year (preferred) Work Authorisation: - Australia (preferred) **Job Types**: Part-time, Casual Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week **Benefits**: - Free drinks Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Afternoon shift - Day shift - Every weekend - Monday to Friday - Morning shift - Rotating roster - Weekend availability Application Question(s): - How many days are you available to work and what days Work Location: In person
