PHHSA has an extensive range of clinical services and programs.

Pintupi are looking for a Clinic Nurse Manager starting as soon as possible.

**What’s the role?**
The Clinic Manager ensures safe, high-quality care to clients across the provision of primary health care ensuring a consumer directed approach while meeting compliance with regulatory requirements. As part of an integrated clinic team, the Clinic Manager will support Remote Area Nurses in the direct provision of high-quality clinical care to clients and work collaboratively with the Aged Care service and Public Health unit.**Is the role right for you?**
- Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
- A caring nature with demonstrated tolerance, patience and empathy
- A sound understanding of person-centred care in a clinical setting
- Confident and authentic communicator and excellent interpersonal skills, with proven ability to engage internal and external stakeholders in a culturally safe manner
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and to manage the human, financial and physical resources of a remote community health centre
- Broad primary health care experience and advanced clinical skills
- Ability and desire to work strategically with a multidisciplinary team to bring about positive change in health outcomes
- The capacity to interact with Health IT systems
- Ability to provide leadership and to practice in a sensitive and culturally safe manner in a remote Aboriginal community
- Willingness to live in a remote area
- Manual Drivers Licence and a willingness to travel by 4WD

**What’s it like living in Kintore?**
Walungurru aka Kintore is situated 530 kilometres west of Alice Springs in the Pintupi Homelands, nestled at the base of culturally important hills, Pulikatjara, meaning two hills. The population is around 450 and mostly made up of Pintupi people with a small population of Walpiri people. The community dates back to 1981 when the Pintupi moved back from Papunya. The main language spoken is Pintupi/Luritja, with other languages such as Warlpiri, Arrenda and Pitjantjatjara also spoken. Often English is a third or fourth language of a community member.
