**About the Role**
The primary role of a TAFE SA Hourly Paid Instructor (HPI) is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives.

**Selection Criteria**
- Relevant industry trade qualification (or equivalent) in welding processes Mig/Tig/Arc.
- Highly desirable to hold Welding Supervisors certification in AS1796, AS2214 or ISO9606 disciplines.
- Must hold an RTO approved Training and Assessment qualification of TAE40110 or higher.

**Special Conditions**
- The Hourly Paid Instructor (HPI) is engaged on an hourly paid basis. Maximum engagement is 400 hours per calendar year.
- Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- May be required to facilitate at several campuses within TAFE SA.
- This role requires flexibility around timetabling.
