As we continue to welcome visitors to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, we have an opportunity for a friendly and focused, **Visitor & Member Services** Team Leader** to join the team in a part-time role to deliver exceptional service to our visitors and members and to drive a culture of supervisor service across the team.

**About the Role**

Our friendly Visitor & Member Services Team Leader will be customer facing and responsible for warmly welcoming visitors to the Sanctuary, including working at the main desk processing memberships, ticket sales, cash balancing, taking reservations and being the first point of contact for any concerns or enquiries.

This role will involve supervising the Visitor Services team in maintaining standards and effectively communicating with departments across the site to ensure visitor requirements are met, as well as opening and closing duties for the ticketing areas and other facilities.

As an experienced customer service professional, you will also train and develop staff to be the best they can be and promote a cohesive, inclusive, and motivated team environment and be able to work with a diverse team.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you must have previously worked as a Front Office/Reservations/Tour Desk Team Leader or similar. You will have strong problem-solving and people skills, as well as a supportive leadership style and a positive, helpful attitude.

Other key skills and attributes we are looking for include:

- Great customer service and able to problem solve and handle a high volume of guest enquiries.
- Strong organisational skills including time management and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Appropriate fitness level required to walk long distances in all weathers and in an environment with native wildlife including birds and reptiles.
- Experience using Centaman and ROLLER Software or other similar reservation and POS systems would be highly regarded.
- Work experience in the Tourism sector and with International guests would be an advantage.
