Located in the mist of the Brisbane CBD, the George Williams Hotel is accessible to all the attractions Brisbane has on offer including Queen Street Mall and Suncorp Stadium to name a few. The George Williams Hotel’s design accommodates 103 guests with a perfect blend of modern and mínimalist décor in an urban setting for those who are visiting Brisbane for business or leisure.

We are now searching for a **Hotel Receptionist/ Night Auditor **to join the team on a **casual basis **in a variety of shifts across the 24hr/ 7 day week roster.

**As a suitable applicant your key responsibilities are**:

- Maintaining Guest accounts and completing a variety of front desk duties
- Provide excellent customer service to guests with their requests via phone or at front desk
- Communicate with other departments to ensure amenities are arranged for the guests
- Providing information to the guests with knowledge of local attractions and sites
- Undertaking credit card payments, cash handling and other invoice transaction
- Maintaining security and OH&S requirements for the hotel

**Other duties, as a Night Auditor may include**:

- Cash float and end-of-day reporting (training can be provided)
- Adhere to maintenance standards and procedures at all times
- Managing room service orders and the delivery
- Supporting the Night Manager with daily tasks and duties

**As a suitable applicant you must have**:

- Previous experience in the hotel/tourism industry as a front desk receptionist or similar
- Effective customer service skills and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- The ability to handle multiple tasks at once
- Practical computer skills and knowledge, particularly with Microsoft suites
- Strong administrative and organizational skills to provide a great customer experience to the guests
- Previous experience with cash handling and transaction handling
