**What you’ll be doing**
If you are a motivated self-starter, have strong SharePoint developer experience and are looking for an exciting role that provides great career pathways then this is the role for you.
**Responsibilities**:
- Monitor and undertake recovery of on-premise SharePoint environments including creation and execution of backups during testing of the Disaster Recovery Plan or its activation in the event of real disaster
- Provide business support and resolution of technical problems for the SharePoint environment in accordance to defined Service Levels with liaison with customers and other agency technology teams
- Establish and maintain release deployment processes and required tools supporting DevOps processes and activities including solution deployments, patches and upgrades
- Advise customer Site Collection administrator’s and solution developers (internal and external) with best practice for SharePoint security, specifications and other configurable aspects to ensure industry best practices are maintained
- Continually assess the SharePoint environments against industry best practice and trends in areas such as capacity planning, security, governance, deployments, operational support and technology integration and establish continuously improvement initiatives to address gaps.
