What will you do?
We are experiencing significant growth within our Transport Land and Water business and as a result, you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled Survey specialists that ‘Bring Ideas to Life’ for our clients.
As Specialists in what we do, we have a deep understanding of our clients’ challenges, and we work collaboratively to co-create innovate solutions and build our technical knowledge. By joining our Transport Land and Water Team, you will have the opportunity to work across a range of our projects particularly railway and construction projects.
As a Surveyor, you will have a genuine interest in making a difference and will actively contribute to some of NSW’s largest and most dynamic Civil Infrastructure projects both on-site and in the office. On a day-to-day basis, you will technically work across our current software or technology such as Point Cloud Capture, bathymetric surveys, 3D modelling, and Photogrammetry (UAV), bring your passion to Traditional Station Survey and Digital Levelling and, you will continue to build your survey technology skills as your career progresses.
As a trusted partner to our client, you will leverage and connect with the Survey Teams, wider Aurecon team, external stakeholders, and clients to navigate through technical requirements, innovation strategies, frameworks, and more.
Aside from day-to-day Surveying, you will act as a key member of the team, who is eager to continue their learning and professional development; further build eminence; and enhance technical skill.
What can you bring to the team?
Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and surveying (and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need a relevant qualification in Surveying or closely related discipline coupled with a commitment to progressing your career in a blend of site and office-based work. Strong capabilities in railway and construction survey is as advantage but not essential.
