Job Description:
Position Summary

Responsible for promoting and selling Terex MPS aftermarket parts and maintenance services to achieve performance targets to broaden the Terex MPS customer base in QLD and NT. This position will require regular business travel.

**Responsibilities**:

- Actively sell and promote aftermarket parts and maintenance services to achieve performance sales targets.
- While pursuing aftermarket sales, also seek opportunities for sale of new machines
- Establish and implement marketing plans to promote new products.
- Update and maintain Salesforce database to accurately reflect machine owners, customer purchasing history, customer calls, potential sales opportunities and information about competitor activities.
- Develop a sold working relationship with customers to understanding their business, identify opportunities for future sales and ways MPS can add value to their business.
- Set-up and maintain effective customer call plans in consultation with Manager.
- Assist with organising and running sales promotional activities, including exhibitions.
- Prepare formal tenders and quotations for the sale of parts and maintenance services.
- Assist prospective customers with the preparation of technical specifications and strive to have Terex nominated as the preferred supplier.
- Identify training needs for ongoing customer service support.
- Provide customers with technical support.
- Follow sound commercial practices in all negotiations with customers and potential customers.

**Qualifications**:

- 5 years of progressive professional experience.
- Hands on operational experience in large equipment sales, maintenance and product support.
- Experience within the mineral crushing and screening industry preferable.
- Ability to accurately prepare budget, forecasts, sales quotes and contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships within internal and external customers.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Sound negotiation skills and ability to lead commercial negotiations.
- Computer literate in MS Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook) and experience with Salesforce CRM would be well regarded.
