**Job description**:

- Collaborate with members of the Culture, Diversity & Inclusion team and other internal stakeholders to support the develop and implementation of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging initiatives across the

diversity spectrum with a focus on First Nations employee retention and engagement.
- Support the diversity and inclusion team in providing advice, coaching and consultation to individuals and groups in order to advance our diversity goals and provide support in resolving diversity issues.
- Collaborate with colleagues across People and Culture and our client more broadly supporting initiatives to embed diversity and inclusion and support the achievement of our Diversity Index targets and goals.
- Support the Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council, its Chair and Working Groups to drive and deliver against our clients DEI&B agenda.
- Develop and deliver awareness communications and events including training.
- Work with external suppliers on the design and delivery of D&I programs.
- Work with key diversity organisations including Diversity Council Australia, Pride in Water, Australian Network on Disability to support our client's diversity plan
- Safety and leadership expectations_:

- Demonstrate commitment to our client's safety, health and wellbeing goals
- Participate in health, safety, and wellbeing activities such as Incident investigations, safety meetings, safety inductions and safety training.

**Qualifications**:
Diploma in Human Resources or related field and experience in a specialist Diversity and Inclusion role or extensive experience in a generalist HR or similar role with involvement in the delivery of Diversity & Inclusion related projects and initiatives.

**Experience**:

- Experience working in HR and experience with Diversity and Inclusion Programmes with a specific focus on First Nations People engagement.
- A sound knowledge and understanding of First Nations cultures and societies.
