Our Australian Talent team have a unique opportunity for a passionate Diversity Equity & Inclusion Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent position, based in Barangaroo, Sydney.
The Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Manager (Racial Equity) contributes to the delivery of the Lendlease global people strategy and is responsible for driving the DEI initiatives across the Australian business. The role will support the broader People & Culture function, including Talent, Learning and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion related initiatives across Lendlease Australia.
You will have a specific focus on our Cultural and Racial minorities within Lendlease Australia, specifically focus on supporting our employees from a racial minority background and ensure they have the same opportunities and experience compared to all Lendlease employees.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Input into and assist into the development, implementation and updating of the strategy for Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) for Lendlease Australia.- Representation and support the governance and administration of the DEI Council for Australia.- Responsible for the management and governance of the Racial Equity Inclusion Network Group (and other network groups where necessary) across Lendlease Australia.- Develop, implement, and monitor a Racial Equity Action Plan for Australia.- Be accountable and responsible for relevant ‘Days of Significance’ for the Australian business- Support talent and learning initiatives targeted for racial minority groups and individuals- Undertake Talent conversations and provide mentoring and coaching with identified individuals.- Manage external relationships with key stakeholders and providers to build and maintain the Lendlease brand and position on DEI.- Partner with external industry bodies and maintain membership and certification where necessary or appropriate related to racial equity- Deliver initiatives to increase the percentage of recognised minority employees at Lendlease (Including but not limited to Gender equity, Racial Diversity and Disability).- Diversity Equity & Inclusion reporting that contributes to the Global Talent / DEI teams.- Leverage your experience of using data and insights to support people and organisational decisions, including policy and process decisions and changes.- Accountable for budget and related activities as part of the portfolio.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline (or equivalent experience)- Experience in implementation of HR and DEI policy and process changes- Lived experience in racial equity and racial minority leadership in large organisations- Knowledge of best practice for DEI across our industry & region- Experience in leading managing DEI across a large complex organisation- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
