As we continue our journey to build and deliver the future operating model of Kmart stores, we are looking for an
**Innovation Programme Manager** who will lead and deliver strategic programs of work that will result in a brand new in-store experience for our team members. In this pivotal role, you will champion the use of innovative thinking, methods and tools, with a primary focus on a design-led approach to innovation.

You will report to the National Innovation and Continuous Improvement Manager and will have a direct team of 3-5 supporting you in these initiatives.

**What you’ll be doing**

As an Innovation Programme Manager working for Kmart you will:

- Develop and lead the Innovation Strategy for Kmart to support the Digital Stores and Store Operations programmes.
- Develop an Innovation framework that delivers timely experimentation with robust criteria and metrics for evaluating cases for scaling potential.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team comprising designers, technologists, store operations specialists and process engineers.
- Instil an agile thinking mindset and use design thinking and lean start-up methods.
- Lead and influence innovation teams, through coaching and hands on participation in projects that will result in real value and impact for our Kmart stores.

**To be successful in this role**:
We're looking for an innovative and driven individual who will bring their wealth of experience in the Innovation space. You will have a passion for design and technology and be able to connect process and experience through a digital lense.

We would also love you to have:

- Proven experience within a similar role overseeing the design, implementation and/or delivery of new processes, programs and products
- A customer and data-centric approach
- Proven experience in using Design Thinking to develop Innovation projects
- Strong commercial focus with an ability to think outside the box
- Exceptional collaborative and communication skills
- Excellent ability in building strong relationships within key business areas to achieve strategic and operational outcomes
- Relevant qualification in Design, Business or Technology highly desirable
