Position: Support Worker
Location: Ipswich, Brisbane Area
.We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Workes to join our team. This role involves providing vital care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including those recovering from drug dependency, living with schizophrenia, physical disabilities, mental health challenges, or elderly clients.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household activities.
- Provide emotional support and encourage independence in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Collaborate with participants to develop and achieve their personal goals.
- Support individuals in managing and maintaining their mental health recovery journey.
- Foster meaningful connections to promote social inclusion and a sense of belonging.
**Requirements**:
- Experience supporting individuals with schizophrenia and those in recovery from drug dependency is essential.
- A genuine passion for helping others and creating a positive impact.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in disability or mental health support (preferred but not essential).
- Current First Aid Certificate, Blue Card, and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain).
