Quality Coordinator required for our dairy manufacturing facility. Ensure product integrity in this rewarding role with one of Australia’s leading brands.

The Role

Our Tatura site is an icon in the region, well known around the world for its quality dairy products. As well as being the country’s largest producer of cream cheese, it also produces infant formula, nutritional lactoferrin, various milk powders, plus our famous single serve butter.

We are looking for a new Quality Coordinator to join the team in Tatura This role’s key responsibility is to collect samples from across the site and book them in for testing to ensure products meet quality standards. Use of a Quality management system is critical to reporting this information which is another requirement of the role. This is an entry level role so if you have some experience in Quality or Science fields, please do apply

Please note that this role requires some weekend work on a rotating roster of 9 weeks and an allowance is applied to the package accordingly. (Rotating pattern: Mon-Fri, Tues
- Sat, and Sun-Thurs). You must also be okay to work public holidays.

Responsibilities- Coordinates tools and activities to ensure appropriate materials, product and environmental quality controls are executed to plan- Coordinates daily sample management- Reviews results for conformance to specification and coordinates activities to ensure product conformance- Prepare test reports or certificates as requested by the business- Coordinate the raw material sampling and release of raw materials via the vendor assurance program

About you- Knowledge of processes used to assess product quality and safety in a food manufacturing environment- Experience working in Quality is highly regarded as well as computer literacy/science-based studies- Knowledge of the use of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated problem-solving ability- Strong time management and prioritization skills
