Trainee Revit Designer

This role is within our Life Sciences business. Our Life Sciences business l everages 50 years of Life Sciences experience in the Americas, Europe and Australia. We bring the full asset lifecycle value proposition to our clients which include AstraZenca, Pfizer and Boehringer Ingelheim.

We’re growing our business, progressing complex projects for leading pharmaceutical companies, building on a strong, talented team and winning the right work with the right customers.
- Create and modify engineering drawings and 3D models using REVIT software under supervision
- Assist in developing building information models (BIM) for various project phases including engineering layouts for floor plans, ceiling plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Support senior designers in maintaining project libraries, families, and templates
- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and implement design changes
- Help coordinate with other disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP) to ensure model accuracy and clash detection
- Participate in internal training sessions to improve REVIT skills and knowledge of construction documentation
- Assist in basic quantity take-offs and material schedules from REVIT models
- Maintain organised project files and contribute to project documentation
- Follow quality control procedures and help ensure accuracy of drawings and models
- Stay updated with latest REVIT features and industry trends through continuous learning
- Support the preparation of client presentations and construction documents

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Engineering Design, Building Services, or related technical field

**Knowledge**:

- Basic understanding of REVIT software and BIM concepts
- Basic knowledge of engineering principles and building construction
- Good spatial visualisation ability and attention to detail

**Skills**:

- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Problem-solving mindset
- Ability to follow instructions and work methodically
