Zokal Safety specialises in the delivery of Confined Space & Safety Services. We are seeking experienced safety focused people with a "can do" attitude who want to be part of a team of likeminded people carrying out work on customers site's. Your role is to ensure all requirements of confined space entry are followed in accordance to site policies and procedures and carry out sentry/standby duties to enable the works to be completed safely. We are currently seeking 2 x casual persons with industry experience working in/around confined spaces. **This work suits retired people that have flexible schedules who would like occasional work.** Previous experience with confined spaces, hot work, heights and associated safety requirements is extremely desirable. Great work ethic, the right attitude and the ability to work autonomously and in a team, problem solve, manage situations and staff and carry out safe work practices is a must. In-house training will be provided for the right people. **Qualifications & Other Requirements**: As a minimum you will need to have: - Current Drivers License and willing to travel - Flexible availability - Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance if requested **The following are beneficial, however not mandatory**: - Nationally Accredited Confined Space Advanced certificate dated within 2 years - Working Safely at Heights - Current First Aid Certificate **Demonstrated Ability** - Have previous experience in Sentry duties or an understanding of what the role entails. - Be safety focused - Have the ability to comply with company/site rules & procedures - Have excellent communication, literacy & numeracy skills - Have the ability to remain calm and show leadership in the event of an emergency - Be physically fit and healthy to enable access to confined space locations and pass medicals and drug & alcohol tests **Job Type**: Casual **Salary**: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour Schedule: - 12 hour shift - Shift work Application Question(s): - Do you have a current drivers licence & car & willing to travel for work? - Are you willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check?
