**OPPORTUNITY TO WORK LOCALLY. OPPORTUNITY TO WORK SCHOOL HOURS AT ERMINGTON**

Pegasus Care is looking for reliable Disability Support staff to work in the Ermington area to provide support to a 60 y.o male with dementia. The role is 10am to 3pm 4 days/week.

We are looking for committed people to provide community access, help around the house, assistance with showering and provide to provide assistance to ensure the client meets his goals within a Person Centred framework.

To be successful, you will need well developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a Team as well as family members, you will need good communication (both written and verbal) skills and the ability to follow the routines and protocols in the setting in which you work.

**Essential Criteria which staff MUST have to be considered **for the position are:

- Certificate III or IV in Disability Studies
- NDIS Worker Clearance Certificate - willing to obtain prior to finalisation of employment.
- Completed NDIS Worker Induction Module - Quality, Safety & You
- Infection Control Training
- Completed NDIS Module - “Providing Safe & Enjoyable Meals”
- Current NSW Working With Children Check
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid/CPR Certificate
- Drivers Licence, a Reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Insurance
- Provide evidence of vehicle registration
- Minimum six months experience in Residential Support gained in Australia
- 100 points of ID
- The right to work in Australia

**Other skills which are highly regarded and applicants must have some of these to be considered**:

- Assistance with Feeding
- Personal Care
- Provision of Community Access.
- Implementation of Individual Goals, Plans, Routines
