**MOTOR VEHICLE TRIMMER**

Larke Hoskins requires a professional motor vehicle trimmer for its prestige used car dealership in Zetland, NSW.

The position will perform the following duties:

- Carry out repairs and alterations to the interior fittings of vehicles
- Remove old or damaged fittings and installing new internal trims such as floor coverings, seats, headlining, door panels and lining
- Prepare replacement materials by measuring, making templates and cutting to desired shape utilising a range of materials such as; leather, vinyl, nylon etc.
- Carry out car upholstery; patterning and sewing seats, carpets and covers
- Determine materials and equipment required and maintain accurate inventory of supplies.
- Restore and preserve vehicle exterior using cleaning solutions, compounds and paint correction
- Use machine polisher to remove cosmetic defects and restore colour and condition
- Adherence to Work Health & Safety standards and practices at all times in the workplace
- Communicate effectively with management and customers to adapt your skills to suit individual projects and decide on materials and costs
- Driving vehicles to and from our other dealerships

The position is full time.
- At least three years of experience in all aspects of the preparation of prestige used vehicles for display and sale, including trimming, the use of buffing machines and correct use of various cleaning chemicals
- Meticulous attention to detail taking pride in the results of your work
- The ability to prioritise all tasks and communicate effectively with management
- Be able to work largely un-supervised
- Hold a current drivers licence and be a very careful driver

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
