**Manager, Membership & Corporate Partnership**

We are looking for a bold and collaborative Manager, Membership & Corporate Partnership who is interested in joining a leading NSW Government agency focused on creating a living future for the past so that our visitors can experience Sydney's past as if they had lived it themselves.

**What the opportunity is**:

- Employment with Museums of History NSW, NSW Department of Enterprise, Investment and Trade.
- Clerk Grade 9/10 - $143,236. Package includes salary ($116,211 - $128,061), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- Temporary full-time employment for a period up to two years
- The role will work across the Sydney area.

**What we do**
Museums of History NSW (MHNSW) is the first cultural institution in the state with history as its core mandate. MHNSW provides public access to government archives, objects, materials, buildings, places and stories that shape the historic, social, political and cultural identity of NSW. As a custodian and storyteller, MHNSW is committed to preserving and presenting our state’s unique history and bringing its stories to life through diverse voices and viewpoints. We place history before us not behind us, making it immersive, discoverable and relevant through interpretation, exhibitions, public programs and online resources.

MHNSW brings together the museums, historic houses and associated collections previously in the care of Sydney Living Museums with the vast collection of more than 13 million items held by the former NSW State Archives. This includes one of the world’s most complete and important collections documenting colonisation.

Alongside Museums of History NSW is the State Records Authority NSW (SRANSW) which focuses on record keeping standards, regulation, advice, education and policy.

**What you’ll do with us**
This role will identify, grow, retain and review new and existing membership programs, and commercial and corporate partnerships to meet Museums of History NSW’s audience and revenue targets and enable the agency to meet its strategic goals and objectives.

**What the essential requirements of the role are**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant relevant experience in Membership bodies and corporate partnerships
- Five years plus experience and success in procuring, managing and leveraging financial and strategic partnerships and commercial opportunities. Experience and proven track record in implementing membership and corporate partnership strategies to achieve business growth and increasing brand awareness.
- Experience in producing an experiential events program to maintain and enhance a membership program
- Knowledge and proven experience in financial management, budget forecasting and reporting, business modelling, and event operations.
- Proven knowledge and demonstrated policy development skills with experience in preparing and implementing membership corporate partnership strategy
