**About Hyatt Centric Melbourne**
**The Role**:
As the Purchasing / Receiving Clerk you will be responsible for providing excellent and a consistent level of service to external and internal customers when receiving delivered goods. Once the goods checked for quantity, quality, expiry of goods, type and price, you will issue the goods to the correct departments and store all items according to HACCP & FIFO requirements.
You will support the Procurement Manager in the day-to-day operations, receive and approve goods, assist where necessary with invoice queries, and supporting the team to achieve our purpose and KPI.
This varied and dynamic role provides a chance to develop your Hospitality career within an international company, either in Australia or overseas.
**Qualifications**:
**About you**:
- A good knowledge of Purchasing, Receiving and / or Store Management
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in MS Office
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- A strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage your time
- Certified Food handlers Certificate (HLTFSE001) required or willing to obtain
- The flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends
