As a People & Culture Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the People & Culture team to deliver best in class HR services and activities to employees across our Australian and European divisions. This true generalist role is pivotal in fostering a positive workplace culture, enhancing employee satisfaction, and ensuring the smooth execution of the P&C lifecycle. The P&C Generalist will deliver a range of HR initiatives including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and offboarding.

**Day-to-day**:
At BetMakers no day is the same, we pride ourselves on being a dynamic and fast-paced team, that love to deliver excellence. If you're ready to take on the challenge, the role will involve:

- **Employee Onboarding**: at the forefront, you will be the first welcoming face to support new team members with open arms and ensure they have an exceptional entry into the business.
- **Employee Relations: s**erve as the primary point of contact for leaders and employees across AU and EU to provide initial HR advice in accordance with relevant employment legislation and BetMakers policies and procedures.
- **People Operations & Reporting**: act as the source of truth, managing employee information and organisational charts including data entry and management of employee movements in the HRIS system (BambooHR). Generate regular reports on P&C metrics, including turnover, headcount, and employee satisfaction to support strategic decisions
- **Employee Engagement**: join in on the fun as you will be developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives to foster a motivated and inclusive workplace.
- **HR Systems and Software**: put your tech-savvy skills to work as you navigate our HR software (BambooHR and Leapsome) with finesse.
- **Compliance and Policies**: ensure we're on the right side of employment laws, keeping up to date with legislation changes and proactively ensure that our company policies are updated, understood and followed.

**To be successful in the role**:

- You will have 3-5 years' experience in an HR Generalist role. You are detail-orientated, executing tasks thoroughly with precision.
- You will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- You're cognisant of the bigger picture, understanding how your role contributes to the strategy.
- You will have deep knowledge of employment laws and HR practices across Australia and preferably the UK/Europe.
- You follow through consistently and are always willing to get the task done, no matter the level or complexity - you're not afraid to ask for support.
- You're proficient in HR systems (preferably BambooHR and Leapsome) and the Google / Microsoft Office suite.
- You're authentic, always acting respectfully, upholding the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
- You follow procedures, whilst being adaptable and able to think critically to problem solve. You can bring your unique ideas to the table.
- You go above and beyond, willing to continuously learn and extend yourself to actively contribute to the team.
- You have outstanding time-management and multi-tasking skills; you're able to prioritise tasks and work to multiple deadlines.
