The Non-Specialist Medical Locums Unit is committed to the delivering high quality, client-focused and professional services that support the organisation in the delivery of its core function which is to provide specialist human resource services for medical staff across the District in all disciplines including Mental Health.
The Locums Unit is responsible for ensuring locum medical staff are appointed in accordance with policy and managed appropriately. The administrative assistant will assist with ensuring locum medical officers are compliant credentialed and manage agency and locum payments.

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
