**Job Description**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Reliability Manager to join our team. The Reliability Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of our plastics injection moulding facility. This position will focus on developing and implementing Maintenance Excellence practices to enhance equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve overall operational efficiency.

**Your key responsibilities will be to**:

- Develop and implement Maintenance Excellence strategies, policies, and best practices to optimize equipment reliability and performance.
- Lead, mentor, and coach the maintenance team to ensure they are aligned with Maintenance Excellence principles.
- Identify opportunities to improve the reliability and availability of equipment and machinery.
- Develop and execute reliability-centred maintenance (RCM) strategies.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure reliability improvements.
- Implement and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce unplanned downtime.
- Ensure that maintenance schedules are regularly reviewed and updated based on equipment condition and reliability data.
- Develop an asset management strategy to extend the lifecycle of equipment and machinery.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely acquisition of spare parts and materials required for maintenance activities.
- Lead root cause analysis efforts to identify and address the underlying causes of equipment failures.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
- Monitor and control maintenance costs to achieve cost-effective solutions.

**Your skills and experience**

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

- Engineering qualifications (Mechanical) or can demonstrate equivalent experience/training (Trade qualified)
- Proven experience in a maintenance or reliability management role within a plastics injection moulding facility or similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Maintenance Excellence principles, RCM, and reliability improvement methodologies.
- Advanced skills in CMMS software/systems such as MEX or SAP
- Formal training in Lean manufacturing techniques and root cause analysis (desirable)
- Familiarity with plastics injection moulding equipment and processes is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with a proven ability to coach, mentor and develop maintenance teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
