**Our Service**:
The Head to Health service is a brand new service for adults in Western Sydney seeking emotional wellbeing and mental health support. The service provides a combination of peer-led recovery and clinical support and a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for people experiencing psychological distress. Allowing low risk individuals to identify alternatives to presenting to the Emergency Department and gaining access support from trained mental health professional within their community, outside a clinical setting.

**Role overview**:
This is an exciting new role as part of a brand new Head to Health Service in Western Sydney.
- Deliver contemporary level of profession specific clinical services assessment, clinical brief intervention treatment and evaluation
- Brief Intervention Model of care; up to 6 session for those mild-moderate, short term, goal orientated focussed psychological therapy
- Provide Brief Interventions to people in accordance with Treatment Recommendations made at Case Review; short term therapy goals required and handover, session planning and case review and or closure process where clinically indicated
- Participate as a member of the mental health team in providing intake, comprehensive mental health assessment, case coordination, intervention or group work as required

**Requirements**:

- Must have one of the following: General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse OR Social Worker with AASW eligibility
- Demonstrating a comprehensive level of profession specific knowledge, expertise and skill; specifically Brief Intervention Models of Care
- Demonstrated highly competent level of knowledge and skill to undertake routine clinical practice with a comprehensive understanding within the continuum of care.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team utilising comprehensive communication skills to establish effective partnerships and provide consultation to the team as well as government and other non-government service providers.
- Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC
