**About the role**

We are seeking an experienced Fire Service Technician to join our team at GA Fire in Brisbane. This full-time position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire protection equipment, ensuring the safety of our clients' premises. As a Fire Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in upholding the highest standards of fire safety across a range of commercial and industrial sites.

**What you'll be doing**
- Performing regular inspections, testing, and servicing of fire protection systems, including fire extinguishers, fire alarms, and sprinkler systems accross all of Queensland
- Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning fire protection equipment
- Providing advice and recommendations to clients on fire safety best practices
- Willingness to be available for Fly in Fly out work
- Maintaining detailed records of all work performed and ensuring compliance with relevant fire safety regulations
- Collaborating with our team to identify and implement process improvements
- Actively promoting a culture of workplace health and safety

**What we're looking for**
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Fire Service Technician or in a similar role
- Formal qualifications in fire protection, such as a Certificate III in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing
- Holds all relevant QBCC Licensing
- Qualified Electrician
- Excellent technical knowledge of fire protection systems and equipment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently
- Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and team members
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality work
- A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to client sites as required
