**The Service**

KU Mosman Community Preschool is located in the heart of Mosman and caters for children aged 3-5 years Monday to Friday between 8am - 3:30pm during NSW school term time.

At KU Mosman, their special interest is children’s literature and is incorporated into their program through activities such as group-time discussion, author and illustrator studies, and the reading of good quality children’s literature.

**The Role**

We currently have a permanent part time position available for an early childhood educator with a **completed Certificate III qualification.**

**This position will see you working 6 hours every Thursday and Friday to provide break cover.**
- *You will have access to our KU casual pool on non contracted days _

**To be considered for this role, it is essential you have**:

- Work rights to enable you to work in Australia
- A valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check
- A recognised Certificate III in Children's Services qualification or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- Child Protection training and knowledge of current legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
