**About the Company**:

**The Role**:
We have kicked off a significant system implementation project that will deliver business wide efficiencies, across Operations, Finance, Compliance, HR and Payroll. To drive this transformation, we’re introducing new resources to the business to complement our current capability. This senior specialist role is part of this evolution.

Our Payroll Specialist will be a problem solver, hold a positive mindset and strong team and service orientation. They will capably slide between supporting the system build and testing, with being accountable for end of month/year payroll and statutory reporting, and mucking-in to support weekly payroll.

This is unique opportunity to work with functional leaders on a system implementation, play forward your know-how to your teammates, and build your compliance and continuous improvement expertise. This role has no direct reports and reports through to the Group Payroll Manager.

**Key Responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- End of month & FY end processing, including statutory reporting
- Provide system support & maintenance
- Support the capability development of others
- Support the payroll components of the system project architecture and testing
- Contribute to the delivery of accurate and timely weekly payroll

**About you**:
To secure this role you will be able to demonstrate experience in:

- A senior payroll role in a medium to large, decentralised business processing statutory payments and reporting
- Delivering Month and Year end processing
- Providing systems support and maintenance (UKG and/or Workday experience highly desirable)
- A system build and/or implementation / rollout
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Problem-solving and process improvement
- Establishing a reputation as a can-do, resilient, team player.
