Cannim is a Medicinal Cannabis company with our global headquarters based in the beautiful Sydney beachside suburb of Manly with operational facilities in Australia, Jamaica and Canada with a global market reach. Due to rapid growth we are seeking an exciting and energetic individual to join our small and dynamic Operational Team.

**About the role**

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring the commercial realization of the company is met through the effective management and continuous improvement of the Supply Chain. The Supply Chain Manager managers and supports all aspects of the supply chain by ensuring effective communication between both external and internal stakeholders and that planning schedules align with company strategy and goals.

**Qualification/Education**
- A degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management
- Proficient in English written and verbal

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Develops and maintains an accurate forecast system ensuring operational activities are correctly planned and scheduled.
- Ensure appropriate forecasting is performed using historical data and by liaising with the Sales and Marketing Team.
- Ensures effective communication channels are maintained with cultivation and manufacturing facilities, whereby, cultivation and production schedules align with commercial requirements.
- Ensures the effective management of import/exports by scheduling, coordinating shipments and logistics and working closely with the Operations and Quality Teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Effectively manages Third-Party transport carriers to ensure all movement of goods and delivery of goods is performed in a timely manner, including returns, recalls and urgent shipments.
- Monitor and negotiate shipping methods, routes and shipment rates where applicable to ensure cost effective means are implementing.
- Effectively triages logístical issues to ensure minimum disruption to the supply chain and the operational schedule.
- Effectively manages the supply chain for new product introductions and scaling exercises to ensure commercial realization is achieved.
- Effectively collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficiencies and the delivery of project outcomes within the agreed upon schedule.
- Establishes meaningful and clear KPIs that are measurable and ensure alignment with business strategy.
- Effectively manages a team ensuring a culture of development and excellence.
- Train staff where required to ensure the preservation of knowledge and that industry best practices are continually employed.

**To be successful for this role**
- Experience in demand planning, forecasting and scheduling
- Experience with ERP/standard logistics software
- Experience with statistical models and sales and operation planning
- Experience in inventory control
- Experience in Supply Partner Engagement and Management
- Experience with working within regulatory environment
- Experience with the import/export of medical goods
- Excellent analytical aptitude
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent Project Management Skills
- Sound Knowledge of import/export permits
- Sound Knowledge of LEAN methodologies
- Advance Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a broader team
