**What support we provide**

Uplift Humanity is seeking passionate and committed female Muslim support workers for a non-verbal child who has Autism. Participant is based in Tarneit, 3029. The required working hours are quite flexible, day shifts from Monday-Sunday.

**Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Personal care tasks (personal hygiene, dressing)
- Providing companionship, friendship and emotional support
- General domestic duties
- Assist in implementing care plan
- Assist with play activities
- Community access - one-on-one with the participant (e.g. access to school, doctor appointments, facilitating community access / activities etc)

**Shift Times**

Various Shifts Day 9am - 5pm

Consistent and ongoing hours

**Essential skills and experience in:

- **
- Experience working with physical & intellectual disabilities (previous experience working with a non-verbal client would be advantageous)
- Patience and emotional resilience
- Following & implementing the participants care plan
- Desire to improve the life of another
- Ability to adapt and stay calm in challenging situations
- Understanding participant NDIS Plans, goals, and Care Plans, to ensure shift tasks are met
- A female Muslim is preferred

**Mandatory requirements**
- Valid full drivers licence
- First Aid and CPR certification
- A valid working visa

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $74.77 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
