We have a new opportunity available for a Maintenance Supervisor and Planner to join our Opal Fibre Packaging team in Revesby, NSW.

Reporting to the maintenance engineering manager, the main purpose of this role will be to supervise the mechanical and electrical maintenance team at our Revesby site, as well as coordinate asset management with shutdown planning, schedules and resource requirements.

You will manage planning and maintenance of the CMMS and review and update maintenance systems, plans and registers. Working closely with our electrical and maintenance team who will schedule maintenance.

In this role you will:

- Develop strategic maintenance plans for the plant and equipment and optimise maintenance systems to achieve target reliability at optimum cost with the best possible utilisation of resources
- Lead, supervise and oversee the work of the maintenance team to ensure mínimal interruptions to manufacturing operations
- Support the maintenance team in achieving both individual and team KPIs as allocated by the maintenance engineering manager
- Empower the maintenance team to work collaboratively and take a positive and proactive approach to problem solving
- Identify opportunities to improve system and equipment reliability

For this role we would ideally like you to have:

- Degree qualified - mechanical or electrical engineering desirable
- Previous experience working in a similar role in manufacturing or heavy industry
- Well developed supervisory experience and the ability to lead your team towards successful achievement of optimum reliability maintenance outcomes
- Strong working knowledge of CMMS, SAP and ideally some PowerBI experience
- Some previous experience in a role with lean manufacturing, manufacturing excellence or continuous improvement responsibilities
